After School Choreography Class for High Schoolers

High School students interested in studying choreography afterschool should apply to the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Dancing into the Future program.

The deadline for applying online is October 14.

The March-May 2010 program will run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm-6pm. You'll develop techniques and create original choreography. You'll work with professional dance artists and perform in an informal program at the end. Even better, you'll be able to see live performances at BAM and other venues!

BAM is a wonderful place to see dance, plays, film screenings (with non-talking audiences!) and live music. It's conveniently located near all the trains and buses that go near the Atlantic Mall (a/k/a Target) in Downtown Brooklyn.

THE PROGRAM, IF YOU'RE ACCEPTED, IS FREE!

A Great Idea.
